Rise & Wine Yoga is a two-hour, two-part event starting with vinyasa yoga (breath-to-movement) adding meditation (dhyana), core work, breathwork (pranayama), humor, essential oils (Ayurveda), and a vibey playlist. The yoga class is designed for all levels and body types and always provides a warm welcome to all spirits. After yoga, take a seat on your mat for a guided wine tasting by a local wine distributor. Artisan wines have been hand-selected and paired with small bites. All wines are available for purchase and will be ready for pick-up at a local retailer within the following week. We don't mess around with shipping fees. Your mat is like your own personal oasis, take time for yourself!

We had the pleasure of taking a class with Chelsea in early March as a girls' weekend getaway from sunny Florida to Chicago (we needed some indoor activities). From the start, Chelsea was super responsive and eager to help us plan a perfect session. I also decided to add on live music with our session as well which made it even more unique. Chelsea and Jonathan were welcoming and even took the time to talk with our group afterwards, give restaurants suggestion, and take pictures for us. As everyone has said, the wine and small bites were a hit as well. I wish we had something like this at home!

Chelsea is an amazing yoga instructor! Working with her has been a huge blessing and the greatest honor. When we aren’t working together and I get to enjoy her gift, I arrive to the studio with the intentions of getting a good workout. But what I love is that I end up receiving so much more! Looking forward to future collaborations and practicing with her during Sunset yoga on Tuesdays! The best!

I had so much fun at Chelsea Renee's Rise & Wine event at Your Happy Place Liquors! The flow of the class was great - felt super refreshed after - and the wine tasting at the end of class was a super fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The cheese pairings with the wine were sooo good! She also had a raffle which I won a free month yoga membership at a studio! Can't wait to go to another one of her events!

I had never tried yoga before but was always curious. I went to Chelsea’s Rise & Wine Yoga event at Your Happy Place Liquors and it was a comfortable and fun experience. I was intimidated because I had never done yoga before but the wine definitely helped with that! As business owners of one of the venues where Chelsea conducts her Rise & Wine Yoga events, my wife and I are extremely happy with the results every month. Chelsea is very professional, organized, responsible and amazing to work with. She is very active in promoting the events and effective at producing a smooth running and enjoyable experience. As participants in the class, I've gotta start off by mentioning that my wife and I had never done yoga in our life. Chelsea's teaching style was so effective that both of us, including other beginners in the class, had a great experience, with guidance and clear instruction throughout the entire class... all while also teaching advanced Yogis at their level. Chelsea is amazing. Oh, and the wine is always great too! It's not just a tasting, but more of a relaxed but educated and informative wine tasting experience.

Chelsea received her 200-hour yoga teacher training from Zen Yoga Garage in Chicago. Originally from Virginia, she grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where she was involved in competitive dance and cheer. After college, she fell in love with the practice of yoga after realizing she had fallen victim to the daily pressures of her corporate career and started to experience the all-too-common symptoms of anxiety. At a local studio, she discovered that vinyasa yoga was full of creative movement that she used to love  while simultaneously exercising the mind using breath & meditation. This is what she began to crave. Already interested in the body and how intelligently it works, she became a vinyasa yoga & meditation teacher. Chelsea teaches her classes with a creative flow adding breath work, core work, meditation, humor, essential oils, crystals, and a playlist that she hopes you'll enjoy as much as she enjoyed putting it together. She loves that vinyasa yoga allows room for full body mobility and can be as challenging as you make it. Chelsea believes yoga is for all spirits and body types and provides a warm welcome to all!
